The first Polaroid ZINK™-enabled product is a pocket-sized mobile printer that produces borderless full color 2"x3" peel-and-stick ZINK photos from digital cameras and camera phones. ZINK Imaging and TOMY Company, Ltd., are collaborating on the development, branding, and marketing of a new family of printing products that leverage ZINK Imaging's ZINK Zero Ink printing technology. ZINK Technology provides TOMY with a technology platform from which the company will brand and launch a new generation of printing products that are small, simple, mobile, earth friendly, and affordable.
The first TOMY branded ZINK-enabled product is the TOMY xiao™, an integrated device with a digital camera and built-in ZINK printer, available in Japan in November of 2008. The partnership has plans for a number of ZINK-enabled products.
